About quality and texture - The swingarm (triple square without sway bar) from G-Craft is made from aluminum box section TIG welded together to machined billet aluminum with a highly polished surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The look of the swingarm is most impressive but it doesn't stop there, the bearings fitted to the pivots help to improve the performance of the suspension, while the chain adjusters allow for a simple yet precise tensioning of the chain and alignment of the rear wheel.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase to complement the polished finish of the swingarm is a better styled and finished chain guard then the original Honda part and G-Craft has a restyled polished aluminum one that is a winner in my book. Difficulty of installation - The installation of the swingarm is a intermediate task that took 3 hours to complete. Mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is required to secure the swingarm to the frame via the swingarm pivot bolt and rear shock bolts.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products G-Craft sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the swingarm is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being a significant cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the swingarm, I chose sea freight for the cost saving. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. Disappointed with my G Craft swing arm finished product
I have always trusted the G Craft Name & products. Howerver this time I am disappointed with this swing arm. Usualy G Craft products have a very nice finish , luster to their polished aluminum. My swing arm.s welds have white dulled texture that telegraphs onto the polished section of the aluminum. I suspect that there was no polishing done after doing the welds. Where it has been polished the surface is scratched in circular motion. For sure if I was doing the Q.A. and this passed in front of me it would be a reject. It takes away the look of what is suposed to be eye candy on my bike. This one is not eye candy...
